Barbara A. Winn

Waltham – Miss Barbara A. Winn, of Waltham, died Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Maristhill Nursing Home in Waltham. She was 79. Barbara was born in Revere on June 21, 1930, a daughter of the late William and Teresa (Dooley) Winn, and had worked as a service representative for more than twenty years for AT&T and their successor, Lucent Technologies, until her retirement. She leaves her sister, Mary Russo of Waltham; her brother, William Winn of Brewster, and many nieces and nephews. Barbara was the sister of the late Bart Winn, Robert Winn, John Winn, Edward Winn, and Teresa Kavanah. Family and friends will honor and remember Barbara's life by gathering to visit at The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Monday morning at 10 a.m. before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury.
