Bernard J. Despres

Waltham – Mr. Bernard J. Despres, Jr., of Waltham, died Sunday, June 13, 2010 at his home. He was 28.

Bernie was born in Waltham on January 5, 1982 and had been a lifelong resident. He was a sports enthusiast and loved the outdoors. Bernie’s favorite sports were hockey, skiing and golf and he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was passionate about his music and possessed a talent for playing a good game of poker.

He leaves his parents, Bernard J. and Roberta M. (Muise) Despres; his brother, Jason P. Despres of Waltham; his grandfather, Robert ‘Tim’ Muise of Haverhill and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bernie was also a grandson of the late Mary Evelyn Muise and Gerard and Lea Despres.

Family and friends will honor and remember Bernie’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 11 a.m. on Friday morning when his funeral service will be held. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
