Bernice S. Howard

Waltham – Mrs. Bernice S. (Olsen) Howard of Waltham died Sunday, September 28, 2003 in her home. She was 76. Born in Malden, Mrs. Howard had lived in Waltham for many years. She was employed as the office manager for the 3M Company in Needham until her retirement. Mrs. Howard was very active in the Covenant Congregational Church where she also taught CCD. Mrs. Howard was the wife of the late E. William Howard, the daughter of the late Albert C. and Hazel P. (Crosby) Olsen; and the sister of the late Albert C., Rodney W., and Bernard R. Olsen. Mrs. Howard is survived by her children, George A. Howard and his wife Susan, of Georgia, Charles W. Howard and his wife Joanne, of Sturbridge, and Cynthia J. Manganello and her husband Jim, of Braintree; her sister, Mildred A. Olsen of Waltham; six grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Covenant Congregational Church, 375 Lexington Street, Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visitation will be held in the church Wednesday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. Donations to Covenant Congregational Church, 375 Lexington Street, Waltham, MA 02452 would be appreciated.
