Beverley M. Mitchell

Beverley M. Mitchell of Waltham died Sunday, May 1, 2005 in her home. She was 67. A lifelong Waltham resident, Ms. Mitchell was a switchboard operator for the Waltham School Department for eighteen years. She was a Waltham High School graduate, Class of 1956. Ms. Mitchell is survived by her daughter, Susan H. Mitchell of Waltham, her brother, David Mitchell and his wife, Elaine, of Waltham, two nieces, two nephews, and several cousins. She was the daughter of the late James and Helen (Simmons) Mitchell. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 7, at 10 am in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 33 Myrtle Street, Waltham, MA 02453; the Reagle Players, 617 Lexington Street, Waltham, MA 02452, or to the Waltham High School, 617 Lexington Street, Waltham, MA 02452 for their Oxford Tea, Student Santa, and Show Choir Programs.
