Mrs. Beverly A. (Biddy) Gargone, of Waltham, died at home on Sunday, May, 6, 2018. She was 70.
Beverly was born September 18, 1947 in Waltham, a daughter of the late Amos and Grace L. (Ezell) Biddy. A lifelong Waltham resident she worked as a cook at Chapel Hill for over ten years, retiring in 2009.
Among her interests, she enjoyed gardening, bowling and the Red Sox. An avid walker she participated annually in Project Bread's Walk for Hunger in Boston.
She is predeceased by her siblings, Edward J. 'Buddy' Biddy, James Biddy, Ronald Biddy, Joyce Burkert, Carol Gennaro and Betty Jean Seigen.
In addition to her husband, Charles she leaves their children Charles T. Gargone Jr. (Carolyn DiPaolo-Gargone) of Greenfield, Steven A. Gargone of Orange, Cheryl Lynn Martin of Hudson and Marnie K. Kelly (Timothy) of Marlborough; her grandchildren, Brian C. Gargone, John E. Gargone, Nicholas S. Gargone, Gina M. Gargone, Elizabeth K. Gargone and Crystal M. Gargone; her siblings, Donald Biddy (Jane) of Marlborough, Marie Snow of Waltham and Rita Bryson (Joseph) of Hudson; nieces & nephews; her sister-in-law, Irene Biddy of Chelmsford and brothers-in-law, Herb Seigen of Sudbury and Dick Burkert of Norristown, PA and lifelong family friend, Mary K. Ciraso of Waltham.
Family and friends will honor and remember Beverly's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, May 10th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 8 a.m. on Friday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
