Waltham - Mrs. Bibienne M. (LeBlanc) Doucet, of Waltham, died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 in the Newton-Wellesley Alzheimer’s Center in Wellesley. She was 92.
Bibienne was born in Memramcook, New Brunswick on September 8, 1918, a daughter of the late Marc and Adeline (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. She had lived in Waltham for over seventy years. Until her retirement Bibienne had worked for twenty-five years as a secretary for G.T.E. in Burlington. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and reading.
Bibienne was the wife of the late Adelard Doucet and sister of the late Laurie, Antoine, Gerard, and Anna LeBlanc, Lena and Ida Doucet and Mary Melanson.
She leaves many nieces and nephews including Dorinne B. Burke and her husband, Bruce, of Waltham. She is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Bibienne’s life by gathering for calling hours on Sunday, November 14, in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Monday morning, November 15th, at 9 a.m. before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
