Harwich – Mrs. Blanche C. (Adamski) Bourque, of Harwich, died Sunday, September 17, 2006 at Royal Assisted Living in Harwich. Blanche would have turned 101 on the 29th of this month. Born in Poland, a daughter of the late Frank and Helena (Jendzreski) Adamski, Blanche was a homemaker and had lived in Watertown for twenty years before moving to South Chatham more than 35 years ago. The wife of the late Frederic J. Bourque, she leaves her children, Paul F. Bourque of Highland, California and Patricia A. Kelley of West Harwich; one sister, Dorothy Smith of Yarmouthport; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Memorial donations may be made to Macular Degeneration Research, c/o The Foundation Fighting Blindness, Inc., P.O. Box 17279, Baltimore, MD 21297-0495.
