Blanche M. Cain

Waltham – Mrs. Blanche M. (Droz) Cain of Waltham died Friday, November 7, 2003 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 85. A lifelong resident of Waltham, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Brent) Droz, and worked for many years in the Development Office at Brandeis University in Waltham. She had been a member of the South Side Senior Citizens Club in Waltham. The wife of the late Andrew J. Cain, she leaves her children, Linda M. Cain of Milford and Andrew M. Cain and his wife Robin of Flower Mound, TX; 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Andrea L. Hicks and sister of the late Marcel and Daniel Droz. The Funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
