Waltham- Mr. Brett R. Rushon of Waltham died Saturday April 17, 2010 in his home. He was 52.
Brett was born on April 15, 1958 in Hartford, Connecticut. A son of the late Gilbert G. and Audrey L. (LaVey) Rushon, Brett had lived in Waltham for the past ten years. He was well known on the radio as ‘Brett Richards’. He worked recently as an announcer between two radio stations, 100.7 WZLX and 103.3 WODS both in Boston. Brett also worked for WBZ “Traffic on the 3’s”. In his spare time he enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and volunteering for Right Turn, Inc. in Arlington.
He leaves his sister, Robin L. Mogk and her husband, Kenneth, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; three nieces, Lori Hursty, Christina Morin and Sarah Sidote.
Family and friends will honor and remember Brett’s life by gathering to visit at Right Turn, Inc., 299 Broadway, Arlington Center, on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
