Marlboro – Mrs. Carmela D. (Iannuzzo) Conners of Marlboro, formerly of Waltham died Friday, October 24, 2003 at Bolton Manor Nursing Home. She was 78. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Rosario and Concetta (Galluzzo) Iannuzzo, she lived in Waltham before moving to Marlboro in 1977. Until her retirement she worked for 37 years at the Raytheon Company’s Waltham manufacturing plant. The wife of the late Calvin R. Conners, she leaves her step-children, Judith Nixon, Robert Conners, both of TN and David Conners of Beverly; one brother, Peter Iannuzzo of Wareham, and many nieces and nephews including Frank Bomba of Stoneham, Connie DeMarco of Waltham, Ellie Lepordo of Sudbury, Amy Gullotto of FL, Richard Campobasso of Lincoln, Ann Marie Campobasso of Waltham and Rosario Bomba of FL. She was also a sister of the late Mary Bomba, Joseph Iannuzzo, Alphonse Iannuzzo and Dora Campobasso and aunt of the late Phyllis Fiandaca and James Bomba. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Tuesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Joseph’s Church, 142 Lincoln Road, Lincoln at 10 a.m. Burial will be in New Lincoln Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress Street, Boston, MA 02210.
