Waltham – Mrs. Carol M. (White) Perkins, of Waltham, died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Maristhill Nursing Home in Waltham. She was 75.

Carol was born in Boston on May 22, 1936, a daughter of the late Harold A. and Mary C. (Shanley) White. She lived in Newton before moving with her family to Weston in 1961. After almost forty years in Weston she moved to Waltham twelve years ago. In addition to raising her children Carol worked for a number of years as a radiologist at Waltham Hospital.

The wife of the late Frederick J. Perkins, she leaves her children, Rachel A. Garner of Goodyear, Arizona and Elizabeth J. Loesch of Westford; 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was also a sister of the late Ann Wilstermann, Joan Fitzpatrick and Susan Sigler.

Family and friends will honor and remember Carol's life by gathering to visit at 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning, March 20th, in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery, Weston.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
