Merrimack, NH – Carole J. Wright, of Merrimack, died Monday, April 20, 2015 in Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital in Lebanon, New Hampshire. She was 81.
Carole was born in Newton on November 8, 1933, a daughter of the late George and Madeline (Dubois) Wright. She was a 1952 graduate of Waltham High School. Until her move four years ago to Merrimack she had been a forty year resident of Bedford, New Hampshire. She worked as an office manager for Smith Pump Company in Manchester, New Hampshire.
She loved the beaches in New Hampshire and in Maine, trips to the theatre locally and along Broadway in New York City and was well accomplished as a cook and a baker at home. Carole loved to shop, especially at yard sales and at consignment shops where she delighted in finding a good bargain.
She leaves her son, R. Michael Wright of Charlestown, New Hampshire; her brother, Richard Wright and his wife, Eileen, of Waltham and her cousins, M. Frances St. Germain and David Wright and his wife, Beverly, all of Waltham.
Family and friends will honor and remember Carole's life by gathering to visit from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, April 25th, in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
