Waltham – Mrs. Caroline (LoPiccolo) Orlando, of Waltham, died Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Winchester Nursing Center. She was 93.
Caroline was born in Boston on April 9, 1917, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rosa (Scola) LoPiccolo, and had been a resident of Boston’s North End and West End before moving to Waltham in 1957. She was a retired seamstress.
The wife of the late Ralph A. Orlando, she leaves her children, Nancy Orlando of Waltham and Rosanne LeBlanc and her husband, Paul, of Gloucester; her grandchildren, Leslie LeBlanc and Paul ‘PJ’ LeBlanc; one brother, Frankie LoPiccolo and many nieces and nephews.
She was also a sister of the late Joseph, Gaspar, Peter and Salvatore LoPiccolo, Rita Salipante, Marie Providenza Gallarelli, Rose Mancuso and Josephine LoPiccolo.
Family and friends will honor and remember Caroline’s life by gathering for her funeral service on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 250 High Street, Waltham.
