Waltham – Mrs. Catherine F. 'Kay' (Reilly) Grady, of Waltham, died Monday, March 26, 2007 in Newton Wellesley Hospital. She was 85. Kay was born in Watertown and had lived there before moving to Waltham in 1973. She was a graduate of Saint Patrick's High School in Watertown, Class of 1939. During World War II she had worked for the Watertown Draft Board. Kay was also a former member of the Saint Jude Church Ladies Sodality. She was the wife of the late John Leo Grady, daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Mullahy) Reilly and a sister of the late John Reilly, Theresa Melket, and Thomas Reilly. Kay is survived by her son, John Leo Grady, Jr. and his wife, Maureen, of Foxborough; her daughters, Catherine F. Giampa and her husband, Joel, of South Yarmouth and Linda M. Grady of Waltham; her grandchildren, Peter, Dennis, and Daniel Giampa, Paula and Timothy Grady, and Melissa Pappallardo; her sisters, Mary Veno of Waltham and Eleanor Desmond of Newton, her brother, Joseph Reilly of Watertown, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9:30 a.m. Friday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Watertown. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude Church Building Fund, 147 Main Street, Waltham, MA 02453.
