Catherine Harris

Mrs. Catherine (Gallagher) Harris of Waltham died Tuesday, July 20, 2004 in the Epoch Senior Healthcare Center in Weston. She was 92. Born in Cambuslang, Scotland, Mrs. Harris came to the United States in 1953. <br><br>She was employed as a machinist for the Atlas Manufacturing Company for many years until her retirement.<br><br>Mrs. Harris was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose Anne (Clement) Gallagher and the sister of the late Michael, James, Rose, and Jane Gallagher and Mary Doherty. <br><br>She is survived by her husband, Joseph Harris to whom she has been married since 1942; her sister, Elizabeth Gallagher of London, England, and many nieces and nephews.<br><br>The Funeral will be held on Friday, July 23, at 9 am from the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 10 am. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 6-8 pm.
