Catherine W. O'Hearn

Mrs. Catherine W. (Connors) O’Hearn, of Waltham, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at home. She was 68.

Catherine was born on January 17, 1943 in Waltham a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Bowe) Connors and was a lifelong Waltham resident.

Catherine worked at both Star Market on Lexington Street for over 20 years and Bertucci’s Restaurant on Winter Street and was still working at the time of her death.

She enjoyed traveling and her friendships, day trips and activities through her living at The Mill Apartments. She was a communicant of Saint Charles Borromeo Church.

She leaves her sons, Daniel F. O’Hearn and his wife, Cheryl, of Westford, Steven O’Hearn of Cambridge and Lee O’Hearn in Florida; her siblings, Thomas J. Connors, Francis J. Connors and Mary J. Connors, all of Waltham; one grandchild; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Catherine’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Monday, August 15th, from 6 to 8p.m. and again at 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
