Mrs. Catherine 'Kay' Vienneau, of Waltham, died Wednesday, July 5, 2017 in Meadow Green Nursing & Rehab Facility. She was 99.
Born on January 12, 1918 in Cheticamp, Nova Scotia, Canada she was one of thirteen children of the late Xavier and Laura (Chiasson) Poirier. Raised and educated in Canada she immigrated to the United States in 1962. Prior to moving to Waltham she owned and operated a convenience store in Canada.
Kay is predeceased by her first husband, Simon Muise and her second husband, Armand Vienneau; her only son, John Ronald Muise; her siblings, Albert, Johnny, Henry and Gerard Poirier, Beatrice Graham, Pauline Ferguson, Marie Chiasson, Jeanette Cormier, Margaret Savoie, Lorriane Bourque.
She leaves her brother, Simon P. Poirier of Waltham and her sister, Madeline Cormier of Melbourne Beach, Florida and her grandson, John Muise of California; also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Funeral services are private.
