Charles R. Benson

Mr. Charles R. Benson, of Waltham, died June 28, 2023 at Meadow Green nursing home. He was 80. 

Born on February 7, 1943, Charles was the son of the late Eric and Katherine (McDermott) Benson. He was born, raised and educated in Waltham and remained a lifelong resident. He was a graduate of Waltham High School and earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bentley College. After graduation he began his long and successful career as an accountant.  

In addition to his wife Marcia (Colella) Benson, he leaves his three sons, Mark, John and Robert, and his five granddaughters. He was also the brother of Ronald Benson, Sr., and Doris Edmunds.
