Charles E. Cantello

Mr. Charles E. 'Earl' Cantello of Waltham died Monday, December 6, 2004 in New England Baptist Hospital, Boston. He was 70. Born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, a son of the late Dan and Jennifer (MacDonald) Cantelo, he was a sheet metal worker for twenty-five years for J & J Fabricators until his retirement in 1998. He was also a member of the French American Victory Club of Waltham. He was the brother of the late Alton and Harold Cantelo. He is survived by his former wife and good friend, Mary (Beaton) of Medfield; two daughters, Karen J. Smith and her husband Mark of Lexington and Kathy J. Morreale and her husband Gary of Douglas; three sisters, Jean Cantelo, Doris Morrison, and Barbara Larsen all of Canada, four grandchildren, Mark D. Smith, Shane E. Smith, Jonathan C. Morreale and Lindsey K. Morreale, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Saturday prior to the service from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to your local pet shelter.
