Charles A. Capobianco of Reading was born in Cambridge on April 17, 1954, a son of Charlie and Marie Capobianco of Arlington.
Charlie was a graduate of Arlington High School and Northeastern University. Prior to his illness, he worked as a project coordinator at Comcast. He was an avid Boston sports fan and took great pride in his collection of memorabilia. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, bowling and vacationing with his family at their camp in Vermont. Time spent with his son Charlie was precious. They enjoyed all things outdoors, fishing, snowmobiling and especially attending Red Sox games at Fenway. Charlie was devoted to his brother Paul and enjoyed taking him camping, canoeing and cheering him on at the Special Olympics. Charlie was a dedicated family man. He enjoyed spending time with his brother & parents at their home in Arlington. He instilled his love of outdoors to his siblings growing up. His love of gardening is evident in the many flowers & plantings that he tended at his parents' home.
Charlie & Deb were married for 25 years and their devotion to each other and their families was woven into the fabric of their lives. They enjoyed spending time with their families and truly wonderful memories are bountiful.
In addition to his parents, Charlie is survived by his wife, Deborah A. (Wilson) Capobianco; his son, Charles A. Capobianco of Reading; his brother, Paul Capobianco of Arlington; his sisters, Donna Boland and her husband, Thomas, of Brooklyn NY and Rosemary Russo and her husband, Gerald, of West Haven CT, a niece and several nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Charlie's life by gathering for calling hours on Friday from 3-8 pm in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham and again on Saturday where his Funeral Service will be held at 10 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Waltham.
