Waltham- Mr. Charles N. Faulstich of Waltham died Wednesday June 11, 2008 in his home. He was 89. Born in and raised in Roxbury, son of the late Charles N. and Marie (Hinderscheid) Faulstich, Charles had lived in Waltham for the past fifty seven years, Charles worked as a Chemical Engineer for the E.B. Badger Company in Cambridge for his entire career. Charles was a 1936 graduate of Boston College High School, and was an avid gardener, woodworker, home handyman, and bicyclist who especially liked being surrounded by his many children and grandchildren. Charles served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. and was in training to be a navigator when the war ended. Charles was the brother of the late Dorothy Moran, Virginia McDonald, and Francis Faulstich. Charles leaves his wife of fifty seven years, Anna M. (Walter) Faulstich; his children, Mary Anne Paradise of Norwood, Virginia M. Shiller of New Haven, CT, Charles N. Faulstich of Melrose, Robert W. Faulstich of San Jose, Costa Rica, John F. Faulstich of Redondo Beach, CA, Marjorie E. Faulstich of Los Angeles, CA, Dorothy L. Bowe of Belmont, and Nancy C. Faulstich of Watsonville, CA; one brother Richard Faulstich of Waltham; one sister Carolyn Stillman of Norwood; fourteen grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Church, 140 Shawmut Avenue, Boston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
