Charlotte A. Sweet

Waltham - Mrs. Charlotte A. (Parkinson) (LeClair) Sweet, of Waltham, died Thursday, October 18, 2007 in the Woodbriar Nursing Home in Wilmington. She was 90. A lifelong Waltham resident, Mrs. Sweet worked in the Treasurer’s Office in the Waltham City Hall for 25 years until her retirement. She was a parishioner of Saint Mary’s Church in Waltham. Mrs. Sweet was the wife of the late Frederick Sweet and Edward LeClair, the daughter of the late William and Charlotte (MacDonald) Parkinson, the sister of the late Mildred Quinn, Henry Parkinson, and Marion Parkinson, and step-mother of the late Jacqueline Bauer. She is survived by her children, Shirley A. White of North Andover, who was also her caregiver, Barbara F. Bonfilio of Billerica, and Edward P. LeClair of Maryland; her step-children, Frederick Sweet of Maine, William Sweet of Waltham, and Joan Whitney of Natick; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be offered Tuesday, October 23 at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
