Born in Cambridge on November 1, 1951, Cheryl was a daughter of the late George F. and Marie E. (Lyons) Gannon. She had been a life-long resident at the Wrentham Developmental Center. Mary Hansberry McCarthy joined as a co-guardian in 2010.
