Mr. Chester R. Muise, of Canton, died Thursday, June 1, 2006 in Caritas Norwood Hospital. He was 76. Mr. Muise was born in Waltham and had been a lifelong resident before moving to Canton two years ago. He worked as a machinist for fifty years and operated C.R. Muise Machine Shop. During the Korean War, he served with the United States Army. Mr. Muise was a graduate of Waltham High School and in his spare time enjoyed golf, gardening, sports, and going to Foxwoods. He was the husband of the late Barbara A. (Perkins) Muise, and the son of the late Timothy and Mary Helen (Burns) Muise. Mr. Muise is survived by his children, Mark D. Muise of Watertown, David M. Muise and his wife, Karen, of Waltham, and Sandra L. Fruci and her husband, Jim, of Canton; his grandchildren, Jessica, Adam, and Dylan Muise and Jaclyn and Jake Fruci; his sisters, Marion Butler of Waltham and Pauline Quinlan of Chatham, New Jersey; his brothers, Charles Muise of Framingham and Timothy and George Muise both of Waltham; and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
