Waltham - Mrs. Christine A. (Iaconis) Pintabone, of Waltham, died Wednesday, April 13th, 2011 at her home. She was 72.
Christine was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on December 26, 1938, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Priore) Iaconis and had lived in Waltham since the age of 26. She worked for many years as an insurance agent for Pintabone Insurance Agency in Waltham. She was known for her kind and generous spirit toward many charities.
The wife of the late Charles Pintabone, she leaves her sons, Charles W. Pintabone, Matthew J. Pintabone, and Marc J. Pintabone, all of Waltham; two brothers, John F. Iaconis of Arlington, Virginia and James F. Iaconis of Moundsville, West Virginia; three sisters, Joan P. Beto of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Gloria K. Moore of Dayton, Texas and Deanna Tomao of Corpus Christi, Texas; her grandchildren, Kristen, Matthew, Deven, Marie, Anthony and Andrea and many nieces and nephews.
Christine was also a sister of the late Mary F. Lindgren.
Family and friends will honor and remember Christine’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Thursday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham where her Liturgical Blessing will be held at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
