Christine A. Wheeler

Waltham - Mrs. Christine A. (Phillips) Wheeler, of Waltham, died Monday, February 7, 2011 at her son’s home in Winchester. She was 76.

Christine was born in Boston on April 9, 1934 a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Phillips and had lived in Waltham for the past forty-nine years and was a homemaker.

She was the wife of the late Charles H. Wheeler and sister of the late Michael Phillips and Eileen Long.

She leaves her son, Michael C. Wheeler and his wife, Mary Elizabeth, of Winchester; her grandchildren, Ryan M. Wheeler and Kara A. Wheeler; her sisters, Mary Smith of Waltham and Kathleen Phillips of Watertown and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Christine’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 11 a.m. on Friday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery, Waltham.
