Framingham – Christine M. (Stanton) Wheeler, of Framingham and formerly of Waltham, died on Saturday, March 6, 2021in MetroWest Medical Center. She was 72.
Christine was born in Boston on June 5, 1948, a daughter of the late Edward F. and Anna F. (Voymas) Stanton. She was raised and educated in Waltham and after graduating from Saint Mary's High School she earned her bachelor's degree from Boston University. Until her retirement she had worked as an office manager at various Boston area startup companies. For over twenty years Christine also worked a second shift at Jordan Marsh in the Natick Mall where she made many lifelong friendships.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda J. Wheeler of Coventry, Rhode Island; her grandchildren, Alexander R. and Abygail C. Wheeler; her siblings, Jean P. Craig (Ronald) of Ashland and Edward F. 'Ted' Stanton Jr. (Dianne) of Upton and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Family and friends will honor and remember Christine's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte 20), Waltham on Thursday, March 25th from 4 to 7 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday morning in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
