Claude J. Priez

Waltham – Mr. Claude J. Priez, of Waltham, died Monday April 3, 2006 at Newton Health Care Center, Newton. He was 59. Born in France, Claude lived in Waltham since 1981. He had a great interest in cars and had worked as an automobile restorer in Waltham for many years. He was a member of the French-American Victory Club and the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge No. 1018, both in Waltham. He was the husband of the late Jacqueline (Minet) Priez and a son of the late Jack Priez. Claude leaves two daughters, Christine E. Priez and Sylvie R. Priez both of Waltham; his mother, Madeleine (Legendre) Priez of France; three brothers Jean- Luc Priez of England, Pierre Priez and Jean-Marc Priez both of France; one sister, Martine Priez-Vignon of France, and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 7 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Waltham Boys and Girls Club, 20 Exchange Street, Waltham, MA 02451 or to the Greater Waltham Association for Retarded Citizens (GWARC), 56 Chestnut Street, Waltham, MA 02453.
