Braintree Mr. Clement R. Clem Gallagher of Braintree, formerly of Waltham died Friday, November 4, 2005 in Braintree. He was 89. Born in Waltham, a son the late Joseph and Gertrude (Kane) Gallagher, he had been a lifelong resident before recently moving to Braintree. Until his retirement, Clem worked for twenty-seven years as a quality controller for the Polaroid Company in Waltham. Clem was the husband of the late Nora A. (Galvin) Gallagher, to whom he had been married for fifty-six years. He leaves two daughters, Janis A. Gallagher and Marian E. McHugh and her husband Kenneth J., all of Braintree; two granddaughters, Melissa and Kelly McHugh and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Paul Gallagher. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 8 a.m. Tuesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Marys Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Newton Cemetery.
