Federal Way, WA - Mr. Clifford A. Brodrick, of Federal Way, Washington, died Monday, April 8, 2013 in Washington. He was 65.
Cliff was born in Newton on August 18, 1947, the son of Eleanor J. (Kilcup) Brodrick of Waltham and the late Merton L. Brodrick. He was raised in Waltham where he graduated from Waltham High School. After high school he joined the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam.
A West Coast resident for more than thirty-five years he was self-employed as a professional truck driver. Cliff belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and local veterans groups in Washington. He was passionate about the outdoors and he enjoyed bicycling, scuba diving, sailing and traveling throughout the western United States.
In addition to his mother, he leaves his sisters, Janice Castellano and her husband, John, Nancy Brodrick, and Sarah Brodrick, all of Waltham; his nieces, Adria Castellano of New Hampshire and Leah Castellano of Waltham and his grandnephew and grandniece, JD Castellano and Delsi Castellano both of New Hampshire.
Family and friends will honor and remember Clifford's life by gathering for his Funeral Service on Saturday, April 27th at 10 a.m. in the First Lutheran Church, 6 Eddy Street, Waltham. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
