Waltham – Mrs. Corrine G. (Blouin) Reynolds, of Waltham, died peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Sunday, October 28, 2018. She was 88.
Corrine was born in Cambridge on July 11, 1930, a daughter of the late Walter and Bernadette (LeBlanc) Blouin. She was raised in Cambridge and graduated from Saint Mary's High School. After that she went to work as a secretary for the Boston Globe.
On August 24, 1957 she married Joseph T. Reynolds in St. John's Church in North Cambridge and the couple lived in Cambridge before moving to Waltham in 1965 where they would raise their family.
After her children were grown Corrine went back to work as a secretary for the Raytheon Company for over twenty years. Corrine and John wintered in Bradenton, Florida and spent many happy summers in Ogunquit, Maine. She enjoyed playing cards and Sudoku and was also an avid reader.
In addition to her husband of sixty-one years, Joe, she leaves her children, John B. Reynolds of Waltham, Mark J. Reynolds (Mary) of Dedham and Joan T. Allen of Waltham; her grandchildren, Michael, Sean and Susan Reynolds; her sister, Gloria O'Neil (Bill) of Winchester; her brother-in-law, Thomas Reynolds of Newtonville and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Corrine's life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, November 1st at 10 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
