Daisy Fucci

Mrs. Daisy (Palombo) Fucci, of Waltham, died on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Avita of Needham. She was 97.

Daisy was born in Waltham on June 22, 1919, the daughter of the late Dominic and Albina (Carchia) Albino. She was devoted to her family and her faith.

She was the wife of the late Amerigo Fucci and mother of the late Gerald A. Fucci and is survived by her granddaughter, Rebecca L. Reis of Florida; her great-granddaughter, Nicole Fucci; her sister, Marie Farmer of Newton and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was also a sister of the late Michael, Alfred, Antonio, Virginia, John and Oswald Palombo and Nilda Guilmart.

Family and friends will honor and remember Daisy's life by gathering for calling hours on Friday, March 31st, from 5 to 7 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham and again on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Newton Cemetery.
