Waltham - Mr. Daniel P. Hurley, of Waltham, died on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. He was 69 years old.
Dan was born in Waltham on March 29, 1951, a son of the late John J., Jr. and Dominica J. "Mimi" (Aliseo) Hurley. He was a graduate of Waltham High School and owned and operated Lexington Fence Company. Prior to that he had worked for J.J. O'Brien Construction Company in Waltham for many years.
He had been a Billerica resident for ten years and was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge No. 953 in Waltham. He loved spending time with his family and loved sports, especially a good round of golf. Many happy memories were made at Old Orchard Beach in Maine.
In addition to his parents, Dan was predeceased by his brother, John J. Hurley, III.
He leaves his children, Daniel "DJ" Hurley of Waltham, Kristie Hurley of Waltham, Tricia Hurley of Dracut, and Michael Hurley of Waltham; his grandchildren, Caileen Hurley and Cameron Taranto; his siblings, Sandra Cassella of Hudson, Susan Logue (Edward) of Waltham, and Philip Hurley (Karen) of Billerica, and many nieces and nephews.
