Daniel M. Jones

Waltham – Mr. Daniel M. Jones, of Waltham, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013. He was 27.

Dan was born in Waltham on February 19, 1986. Growing up he loved to skateboard, practice martial arts and play baseball with his friends. He attended Waltham High School and had most recently worked at Tavern on the Square in Burlington.

He is survived by his mother, Robin L. (Caron) Jones, of Waltham; his father, Daniel Pitre, of Rogersville, New Brunswick; his adoptive father, Arthur C. Jones, Jr., of Martha's Vineyard; his sisters, Jennifer Jones of Waltham and Amanda Jones of Haverhill; his nephews and niece, Will, Jacob and Lily; his grandparents, Jean and Arthur Jones, Sr., of Weston and Marie and Medric Pitre in Canada and several aunts, uncles and cousins including Florine and Leonard Pitre of Waltham.

Family and friends will honor and remember Dan's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Saturday, May 11th, from 5 to 7 p.m. and again on Monday morning, May 13th, at 10 a.m. in Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect St., Waltham, where graveside services will be held.
