Mr. Dante Gullotti, of Dedham, MA and Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Waltham, MA, died Sunday, January 29, 2023, in Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, Florida. He was 91. Born in Waltham on October 2, 1931, he was a son of the late Philip and Josephine (Bertolami) Gullotti, both of whom immigrated from Italy (Sicily).
Dante was a U.S. Army Veteran, a sergeant stationed in Korea during the Korean Conflict. He worked for 30 years at the Lake Street Station on Engine 7 as a firefighter on the Waltham Fire Department. He was an avid sports enthusiast who enjoyed following the New England sports teams.
Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Ryan) Gullotti for 50 years he is survived by his children, Jane Beaumont (late Joseph) of Nashua, NH, Richard Gullotti (Karen) of Bolton, MA, and Dennis Gullotti (Jill DeVirgilio) of Dedham, MA. Grandfather of Olivia and Annabella Gullotti of Dedham. Brother of the late Anthony (late Marion) and Robert Gullotti.
Family and friends are invited to honor Dante's life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, on Monday, February 6th from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by his funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
