Wayland – Mr. David M. Colantropo, of Wayland, died surrounded by his adoring family at his home on Monday, December 28, 2015. He was 62.

David was born in Waltham on July 27, 1953, a son of the late Enrico and Mary Colantropo, and was raised in Newton. David is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy (Petitti); his children Dwayne Colantropo and his wife, Laura, of Framingham, Kristie Smith and her husband, Dan, of Jacksonville, Florida, and Eric Colantropo of Wayland; and his greatest pride and joy, his beautiful grandchildren, Mattias and Salvatore Colantropo, Isabella, Danielle, and Samantha Smith. He also leaves his sisters, Gloria Todesco of Roslindale, Judy DeMeo and her husband, Tony, of Stow, Bonnie Beaudet and her husband, Steve, of Littleton, Betty Brault and her husband, Thom, of Upton; his father and mother-in-law, Charles Petitti and Barbara Petitti, both of Newton; and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Karen Harker and her husband, Tom, of Dayton, Ohio, Chuck Petitti and his wife, Susie, of Canton, Alan Petitti of Brockton, Cheryl Petitti of Newton, Steven Petitti and his wife, Gina, of Falmouth, and Diane Farmer and her husband, Joe, of Braintree; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a great nephew.
