David J. Crane

Lunenburg – Mr. David J. Crane, of Lunenburg, died on Saturday, September 20, 2014 in Emerson Hospital, Concord. He was 57.

David was born in Waltham on May 28, 1957, a son of the late Edward and Ruth (Leary) Crane. He had lived in Medway and in Milford before moving to Lunenburg thirteen years ago. Dave was a regular at The Townsend House in Townsend.

A 1975 graduate of Waltham High School he had been working in the Internet Technology Support Department for the Oracle Corporation in Marlboro.

He is survived by his children, Patrick E. Crane of Lunenburg and Heidi L. Kalinowski and her husband, Benjamin, of Fitchburg; his grandchildren, Jacqueline and Matthew Kalinowski; his siblings, Ronald J. Crane of Hudson, Lawrence E. Crane and Joyce E. Crane, both of Waltham and Russell C. Crane of Billerica and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember David's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, September 25, from 4 to 7 p.m. followed by his funeral service at 7 p.m. Burial will be private.
