David P. Hartman

Waltham - Mr. David P. Hartman of Waltham died Sunday, May 15, 2005 at Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Brighton. He was 77. Born and raised in Waltham, a son of the late William and Elizabeth (Tibbetts) Hartman, he worked for many years at BayBank in Burlington as an appraiser. He was a 1945 graduate of Waltham High School. He also attended Boston University and enjoyed playing tennis and golf. He was a World War II veteran serving with the U.S. Navy. He was the brother of the late Elizabeth 'Betsy' Pedersen. He is survived by his wife Marjorie F. (Ellis) Hartman; his brothers, Frank Hartman of Marlboro, Gary Hartman and Frederick Hartman both of Waltham, Richard S. Hartman of Yarmouth, Ralph H. Hartman of Holliston; one sister, Diane Hartman of Waltham and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. The Funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
