Waltham - Mr. David W. Hay of Waltham, formerly of Mashpee, died Tuesday January 31, 2006 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, West Roxbury. He was 77. Born in Brockton, a son of the late William B.and Ruth M. (Greene) Hay, he was the owner of Automotive Adjustment Service for twenty years, and for the past thirty-five years, he was the owner of Davis Furniture Repair. He was a 1947 graduate of Waltham High School and was a Korean War veteran serving with the United States Army. He was the brother of the late Beverly H. Wallace. He is survived by his wife, Elaine K. (Johnson) Hay; his children, Karen E. Kearsley and her husband Greg, and David P. Hay, all of Waltham and Steven Bruno; two grandchildren, Kyle and Aleah and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:45 p.m. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
