Weston Mr. David A. Houston of Weston, formerly of Waltham, died Thursday, July 21, 2005 in Epoch Nursing Center, Weston. He was 91. Mr. Houston was born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada, where he worked as a fisherman and farmer before coming to the United States in 1938. He was a Waltham resident for many years before moving to Weston seven months ago. Mr. Houston was a custodian for the Waltham Public Schools for thirty years until his retirement. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Houston was the son of the late David and Elizabeth (Boland) Houston and the brother of the late Sr. Filician Houston, Daniel, William, John, and James Houston. He is survived by his wife Anastasia J. (Hickey) Houston, to whom he had been married since 1945, and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
