Mr. David B. Pinkham, of Ashland, died on Friday, August 19, 2016 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 59.
David was born in Concord on March 17, 1957, the son of David and Miriam (Lawton) Pinkham. He is survived by his wife, Robbin (Manning) Pinkham; his sisters-in-law, Donna Gooch and her husband, Robert and Dawn Marie Manning; his good friends, Wayne and Wanda Bridges, Mike and Lisa Rock, Mark and Janice Hutchinson, Maureen Mullen, Marilyn Torres and Nadine Santiago.
He began his career as a graphic artist and loved drawing. He had recently worked at Millipore, Land Rover and most recently at the Newton YMCA for six years. He was in the maintenance field and enjoyed tinkering and fixing things.
David had a great sense of humor and always tried to make you smile. He enjoyed nature and animals immensely and loved his cats, Harley and Spanky and many family pets. He also very much enjoyed hunting and fishing whenever he could and had been involved with the Ashland Fish and Game. He also had performed at historical musket reenactments in full regalia.
David fought hard against his cancer with great heart and hope and left us far too soon.
Family and friends will honor and remember David's life by gathering to visit in American Legion Post 77, 40 Summer St., Ashland on Wednesday, September 14th from 6 to 10 p.m.
