David M. Rhodes

Roslindale – Mr. David M. Rhodes, of Roslindale, formerly of Waltham, died Saturday, February 11, 2012, in his home. He was 60.

David was born in Waltham on July 13, 1951 and was a 1969 graduate of Waltham High School He had lived in the city for most of his life before moving to Roslindale. He had worked for a number of years as a truck driver for local construction companies and most recently had worked in maintenance for the Boston public schools.

He is survived by his children, David M. Rhodes, Jr. of Waltham and Kimberly Ouellette of Worcester; his parents, Norman A., Sr. and Elizabeth A. (Caruso) Rhodes; his brothers, Norman A. Rhodes, Jr. and his wife, Virginia, of Bellingham and Brian J. Rhodes and his wife, Nancy, of Tewksbury; 5 grandchildren and 2 nieces.

David was also the father of the late Stephanie M. Rhodes.

Family and friends will honor and remember David's life by gathering at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 20th in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham where his funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
