Maynard – Mrs. Deborah G. (Senarian) Sullivan, of Maynard, died Wednesday, August 17, 2022 in Lahey Hospital in Burlington. She was 72.
Debbie was born in Waltham on June 28, 1950, a daughter of the late Senar and Elizabeth (Garabedian) Senarian. She was a graduate of Waltham High School and attended the Robert and Richard Hairdressing School where she learned how to become a talented hairstylist.
She married Gregory M. Sullivan in Our Lady Help of Christians Church on March 31, 1974. The pair had been residents of Belmont, Newton, Waltham, and most recently Maynard.
Debbie was a terrific wife, mother and grandmother and found profound happiness spending time with them. She enjoyed life's simple pleasures . . . Sunday dinners . . . summer trips to Hampton Beach in New Hampshire . . . playing bingo . . . and trying her luck at Foxwoods.
In addition to her beloved husband of 48 years, Greg, she leaves her children, Stacy L. Motyka (Joseph) of Framingham, Jason G. Sullivan (Heidi) of Westford, and Katelyn Caissie (Victor) of Framingham; her grandchildren, Joseph, Alyssa, and Matthew Motyka, Chloe and Patrick Sullivan, and Dylan and Amelia Caissie; her aunt, Ida Fahey of Newton; and many nieces and nephews.
Debbie was also the mother of the late Kelly A. Sullivan and sister of the late Gary Senarian.
Family and friends will honor and remember Debbie's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, on Wednesday, August 24th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. before leaving in procession to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington Street, Newton, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private.
