Deborah A. (Gouthro) Utley

Acton - Mrs. Deborah A. (Gouthro) Utley, of Acton, died Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was 62.

Deborah was born in Waltham on March 25,1955, a daughter of the late Clarence and Clara (Timbury) Gouthro. She was raised in Waltham and graduated from Waltham High School in 1973.

She furthered her education by attending Bryman Institute where she majored in medical office management. Deborah worked as a billing clerk at Community Teamwork in Lowell.

She had lived in Maynard before moving to Acton two years ago. Deborah enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Francis E. Utley; her daughters, Corinne M. Utley and Melinda E. Utley both of Acton; her grandchildren, Kobe and Yesenia Utley and her sister, M. Elizabeth "Betty" Caputo of McCordsville, Indiana.

She was also the sister of the late Hilton Gouthro.

Family and friends will honor and remember Deborah's life by gathering to visit on Monday, May 15th, at 10 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
