Waltham Mrs. Delfina 'Helen' (Ciarletta) Fahey of Waltham died Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at Maristhill Nursing Home, Waltham. She was 93. Born in Italy, Mrs. Fahey had lived in Waltham since the age of two. Until her retirement, she was a bookkeeper in the accounting office at Brandeis University in Waltham. Mrs. Fahey was a graduate of Waltham High School, Class of 1928. She was the past president of the Waltham Emblem Club and she was also a member of the North Waltham and South Side Senior Citizens Club. Mrs. Fahey was the wife of the late John J. Fahey; the daughter of the late Ilario and Cesidia (Gavita) Ciarletta; and the sister of the late Pasqualina Natoli, Adeline Scafidi, and Ernest Ciarletta. She is survived by her children, Elaine M. OReilly and her husband Kenneth, of Millis, Joanne E. Figliolini, Geraldine L. Chiasson and her husband, Leo all of Waltham and John J. 'Jack' Fahey and his wife, Maureen, of Marlboro; her sisters, Ida Ciarletta of Watertown and Rose Duport Howe of South Yarmouth; her brother, Henry Ciarletta of Watertown; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
