Santa Fe, NM – Ms. Diane M. Hebert, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, formerly of Waltham, died Sunday, October 21, 2018 at her home following a valiant battle with ovarian cancer. She was 51.
Diane was born in Waltham on May 9, 1967 and attended Waltham High School and the University of New Hampshire. She moved to Santa Fe twenty years ago and had worked as a restaurant manager.
She loved the outdoors, especially horseback riding, and was a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club. She was also a talented cook and jewelry maker.
She leaves her father, Roger E. Hebert and his wife, Jeannette, of Taunton; her brothers, Waltham Deputy Fire Chief Roger E. Hebert, Jr., and his wife, Debbie, of Milford and Ray P. Hebert of Derry, New Hampshire; her nieces and nephew, Courtney, Lauren, Ashley and Ray Hebert; her sister-in-law, Colleen Hebert and her longtime companion, Richard Gonzales of Santa Fe.
Diane was also the daughter of the late Helene O. (Fredette) Hebert.
Family and friends will honor and remember Diane's life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday, November 5th at 10 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
