Waltham – Mrs. Dolores J. Rodriguez died on Sunday, October 19, 2014 in Maristhill Nursing Home. She was 95.
Dolores was born in Guantanamo, Cuba on April 14, 1919, a daughter of the late Pedro and Aquilina Rodriguez. In 1969 she moved to the United States and then to Puerto Rico in 1977, finally moving to the Boston area in 2002. Her life centered around her family. She was a wonderful cook and was happiest when her family could gather together to share a meal.
She was the beloved wife of the late Leoncio Coutin and is survived by her children, Randy Coutin of Puerto Rico, Mercedes Conde and her husband, Jose, of Uxbridge, Nancy Mangos and her husband, Charlie, of Lynn and Camila Sidiropoulos and her husband, Paul, of Waltham; her sister Gloria Rodriguez of Miami, Florida and is also leaves eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Armando Coutin and Orlando Coutin and sister of the late Luis Rodriguez.
Family and friends will honor and remember Dolores' life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday morning, October 22nd from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. before leaving in procession to St. Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury.
