Waltham - Mr. Don P. Clausing, of Waltham, died Monday, December 20, 2010 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 80.
Don was born in Kansas City, Missouri on October 25, 1930, a son of the late Paul and Hilda (Schmidt) Clausing and he had lived in Waltham since 1989. He was an engineer for many years and a professor at M.I.T. from 1986 until his retirement in 2005.
He leaves his wife, Ruth (Schwartz) Clausing; his children, Sandra L. Clausing and her fiancé, Mark Szakos, of Rochester, New York, and Gary D. Clausing of Binghamton, New York.
Family and friends will honor and remember Don’s life by gathering for his Graveside Service on Thursday December 23rd, in Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street, Waltham at 11 a.m.
