Newton – Mr. Donald S. Conley, of Newton, died Friday, May 4, 2018 at Heathwood Rehabilitation Center in Chestnut Hill. He was 84.
He was born in Decatur, Illinois on June 21, 1933, a son of the late Walter and Pauline (Houte) Conley, and had lived in Newton for the past forty-seven years. For forty years Don drove a school bus for the Weston Public Schools where he is remembered with great affection by generations of families.
Don's faith was the foundation of all that he did and he spent a lifetime in Jehovah's Witness ministry and was member of the Kingdom Hall congregation in West Newton.
He leaves his wife of fifty-two years, Nadine R. (Allen) Conley and his brother, Lawrence Conley of Columbia, South Carolina.
Don was also a brother of the late Richard and Gerald Conley.
Family and friends will honor and remember Don's life by gathering for a memorial talk on Saturday, May 12th at 2 p.m. at Kingdom Hall, 1672 Washington Street, West Newton.
