Donald Harold MacKenzie

Waltham- Mr. Donald Harold MacKenzie of Waltham died Thursday May 20, 2004 in MeadowGreen Nursing Home, Waltham. He was 94. Born in Seafoam, N.S Canada, a son of the late James and Sophia (Baillie) MacKenzie, he was an Electrician for many years for W.H. Nichols in Waltham. He was a member of the Joseph F. Hill American Legion Post #156 in Waltham, the Odd Fellows Lodge, very active at Beth Eden Baptist Church, and a World War II veteran in the U.S. Army serving with the 104th Infrantry Division. Mr. MacKenzie was the husband of the late Ida M. (MacMillan) MaKenzie, and brother of the late Alexander Mackenzie and Anna Innis. He is survived by three daughters, Betty M. Lavender and her husband Alan of Newburyport, Kathy J. MacKenzie of Waltham, and Debby M. Wyskiel and her husband David of Meriden, CT; one sister Marguerite C. MacPherson of Epsom, NH; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Beth Eden Baptist Church, 84 Maple Street Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours Sunday 3- 5 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Memorial donation’s may be made to the Beth Eden Baptist Church.
